The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 022-18, which is working nicely. The movement is signed Record Watch Co, and it is all protected by an inner cover. There are two empty retaining screw holes in the movement.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is stainless steel and it is in good condition. The screw-on case back is signed with the Record name. It also states that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is some light freckling.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
