Description

Known as the long Eagle watch By Bulova watchmakers in white gold, fully serviced Nov 2022. In 1927 In honor of Charles Lindbergh’s transatlantic solo flight from New York to Paris, Bulova ships 5,000 Lone Eagle watches, packaged with pictures of Lindbergh. The supply, which was available the day after the landing was sold out within three days. During the next few years Bulova sells nearly 50,000 of these commemorative watches.

This example has Just been serviced with new mainspring and strap, running very well and keeping great time. In superb condition and free from engravings. A really handsome looking watch that comes complete with a new unworn leather strap in a brown colour. Good quality 15-jewel Bulova 10AN movement mechanical hand-wound movement. Ultra sonically cleaned & Oiled and is running strongly and keeping good time

Original internal dust cover protecting movement inside.

Size 25mm x 36mm. 14mm XL strap for wrist size 155mm to 190mm.

Movement bears date code for 1929. Case has 1931 date – quite normal for Bulova's movements and cases to vary by a year or two. This watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. A lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. Shows no wear-through to the gold. All of our watches are sent out in a presentation box.
