Movement bears date code for 1929. Case has 1931 date – quite normal for Bulova's movements and cases to vary by a year or two. This watch is perfect both for everyday wear and for adding to the collections. A lovely watch any gentleman would love to wear. Shows no wear-through to the gold. Founded and incorporated as the J. Bulova Company in 1875 by Joseph Bulova (1851-1936), an immigrant from Czech Republic. It was reincorporated under the name Bulova Watch Company in 1923, and became part of the Loews Corporation in 1979.
