A fabulous late Victorian gilt metal (ormolu) and amber coloured cut glass double door handles c1880. These are very decorative and opulent with the elaborate foliage design of the door plates and finials. The amber coloured handles themselves are cut in a pattern of concave diamonds in the wider centre part, with long slice cutting on either side. The handles fit perfectly in the hand. In very good condition and very decorative.
