An Unusual Edwardian Silver Table Vesta

A rare and unusual variation on the usual silver vesta. This Edwardian hallmarked example is a rectangular box with a striker to the side and is of superior gauge silver. The lid is hinged, with beautifully engraved decoration and the interior is gilded. A most interesting and unusual addition to a vesta collection. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents or holes. Some wear to the gilding, commensurate with age and use.

Hallmarks :- Clear and readable. Full set to base and corresponding part set to lid.
