Fine Silver Tea Strainer With Stand Hallmarked London 1946 William Bruford & Son

A lovely solid silver tea strainer and stand. This nicely pierced strainer bowl has two beautifully decorated handles either side. The bowl sits on the circular stand which is used to catch residue. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the London Assay Office with a date mark for 1946 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, along with the silver maker''s marks for William Bruford & Son.
 
 
 
A very attractive tea strainer, which would make a practical item or wonderful gift.
