The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Gents 1950s Mohan chronograph wrist watch.
The watch has a 17-jewel Landeron 48 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner metal cover.

The watch measures 38mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is 18ct gold and it has the Continental marks on the back of the watch. The inner metal cover has been fixed to the back cover to make it nice and strong.

The lens has general marks but fairly light and acceptable.
The dial is signed Mohan, a brand name registered by Boichat & Cie of La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, who registered the name in 1920. The dial is in its original finish with original hands and two subsidiary dials (one for constant seconds and the other to record up to 30 minutes). The chronograph hand re-sets just to the right of zero.
A later leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
