Description

A fine pair of mid 19thc Staffordshire pottery fireside spaniels c1860. This pair excels in the very clear modelling and precise lustre application. As a result, the spaniels have separated front legs, fine variation in their coat and feathered hair on legs and tail, very finely painted eyes and muzzles, careful copper lustre patches, chains, locks and collars. They are in excellent condition for their age.
