This is a charming and very unusual pair of Victorian hand-blown pale amethyst glass salts. Each frilled dish a beautiful graduated amethyst colour. The rim petal-shaped and the centre with a clear glass crimped girdle. The base with polished pontil mark. The spoons with a beaded border..

I.L for Isadore Leapman

Birmingham Assay Mark.

Lion Passant.

Date letter "a" for 1900.

Dimensions:

Height: 4.5cm / 2 inches.

Rim diameter: 7cm / 3 inches.

Condition:

Very good.
