A 19thc French miniature portrait of a young lady painted with enamels on porcelain and housed in an ormolu oval frame with a wall hanging ring. The young lady has a natural look, wears loose fitting plain garments but is adorned with a beautiful necklet and earrings. The back bears an indistinct handwritten name - Millar. In excellent undamaged condition.
