Edwardian Round Silver Vesta Case Chester 1909

1900 - 1920
Description

An Edwardian round silver vesta case with clear hallmarks for Chester 1909 and makers mark for Joseph & Richard Griffin. The round shape is more rare and desirable. Each side is chased with all over foliage decoration. The plain shield bears the italicised letters AL, no doubt the original owner. The striker is clean and clear, the interior is gilt sprayed. Very good condition with a nice tactile surface.
