Antique French Marble Top Inlaid Walnut Console Table

1920 - 1940
Description

A stunning antique French style console table of the highest order, dating from around the 1930’s.

It is beautifully made from walnut, with contrasting burr and figured walnut panels, inlaid with intricate floral marquetry. There are high quality ormolu mounts all over, and this has an amazing cream marble top.

This table has a serpentine shaped front & a single drawer. There are two decorative gilt metal trims above & below the drawer.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.

Width – 50 inches , 127 cm

Depth – 17 inches , 44 cm

Height – 34 inches , 87 cm
