The antique pine chest is of rectangular form with exposed dovetail joints to the corners, and metal carry handles to both sides. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. A rather pleasing example, with plenty of storage space.

CONDITION REPORT:
In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, dents and shrinkage to the top (pictured), further marks and scratches to the sides and front. There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Due to the historic woodworm, there are minor losses to the base (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product. The antique pine chest remains structurally solid and sound. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.
