A good Shannon Filing Cabinet constructed in walnut and having 2 banks of 8 sliding drawers all retaining their original name plate brass handles. The frieze having a decorative carved moulding and stencilled in red and gold “SHANNON FILING CABINET” flanked by shaped and carved corbels above fluted columns. The patented brass central locking mechanism (patented July 26th. 1886) in working order and complete with keys. Condition- very good, re-polished in our workshops. Dimensions:- Height…48’’/ 122cm. Width…24.75’’/ 63cm. Depth…18’’/ 46cm. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £55.
