An early 19th century Mahogany Cheval Glass. The mirror frame in cross banded mahogany, the sides sweeping to a bow and rounded top.
The frame enclosing the original bevelled plate, conforming to the sweep of the frame.

The circular supports, with ring turned decoration, joined by double shaped and tapered cross stretchers, likewise with ring turned decoration.
The outward and downward tapering legs, with reeded decoration, finished with brass leaf cast cap castors.

The supports with adjustable candle arms, rising in scrolls to the broad drip pans, and thence the vase shaped candle holders.
Complete with four panel back.
