A pair of antique Victorian sterling silver basting/serving spoons which have been designed in the fiddle pattern style with long well balanced handles and good sized bowls perfect for serving a variety of food. These silver serving spoons would make useful additions to a fiddle pattern canteen and would be ideal to use on the table.

Width of bowls: 5.8 cms (2.3'')
 
Weight: 7.9 troy ounces (246 grams)
 
They were hallmarked in London for 1838 by John James Whiting and remain in excellent condition.
