A Charming Small Early Victorian Silver Vinaigrette

Description

A charming and small early Victorian silver vinaigrette of shaped form. This splendid example has a richly gilded interior and a lovely pierced and engraved grille. The lid and base are 'lipped' and decorated with engraved foilar and floral details. There is a central cartouche engraved with the original owner's initials. To the side is an attaching ring for fob chain or chatelaine. An unusual and attractive collector's piece. Dimensions below.
