Description

19th Century Japanese lacquered table cabinet from the Meiji period, having a shaped top in the typical Japanese style, the top, sides and front lacquered with floral decoration, the front of the cabinet consisting of five various size drawers with the original brass handles, a cupboard to the right opening to reveal further two drawers inside, the door front having a shaped panel decorated with a wildlife scene, supported on shaped feet. A truly lovely and decorative little cabinet. Circa 1890.
