Art Deco Silver and Guilloche Enamel Cut Glass Scent Bottle by Henry Perkins, Birmingham 1921

Description

This elegant Art Deco solid silver scent bottle is a good size and is very striking. Hallmarked for Birmingham 1921, the square sliced-cut glass body fitted with a silver screw top lid. The lid inset with a superb sunflower yellow guilloche enamel, sunburst pattern, cabochon.

Hallmarks:

Maker's marks partially erased but identifiable as those of Henry Perkins & Sons.

Date letter "w" for 1922.

Birmingham Assay mark.

Lion passant.

Dimensions:

Height: 9cm / 3.5 inches.

Width: 5.5 cm / 2 inches.

Depth: 5.5cm / 2 inches.

Condition:

Very good.

Glass body, neck and stopper in good condition.

Screw top lid secure.
