Beautiful Antique English Sterling Silver Ring Box for Five Rings - 1901

Description

A delightful solid or sterling silver ring box with a fitted interior, lined in blue velvet to accommodate five rings. The interior of the lid is also gilded.

A wonderful shape, the lid of the box has a spectacular figural scene with a gentleman serenading a lady and her companion, beautifully boxed making this a really pretty example.

The quality is excellent, made by highly regarded English silversmith, Walker & Hall, the makers mark on both the base and lid. There is a full hallmark on the underside and partial on lid, for Sheffield 1901.

Excellent condition (one dimple to the back of the box, mentioned purely for accuracy). 4 1/2" x 2" x 1 5/8" tall.
