A superb quality burr walnut and inlaid Victorian games and sewing table. The rectangular top opens and swivels to reveal a green baize lined interior. The front having an arrangement of 3 drawers all having boxwood line inlay, the centre drawer lined with boxwood compartments for sewing paraphernalia. Below is a basket shaped sewing box with conforming inlay and the whole raised on dual turned end supports with carved cabriole legs and original brass and pottery casters, the base is united by a turned cross stretcher.
