A Large George Ii/ III Elm And Oak Chair

An interesting and striking design demonstrating a Chinese influence. The seat is oak, possibly a replacement but with significant and reassuring wear, particularly around the edges. The inderside of the seat is stamped with the initials M.P., either a journeyman maker or owner.
 
Condition: structurally sound, some typical wear and tear commensurate with age.
