An antique Turkmen Tekke rug from the Emirate of Bukhara, approximately 5''11'' x 3''9'', Circa 1900. This charming rug has a madder red field with with rows of quartered guls, enclosed by borders of stella motifs. A hand knotted, rug with fringes to both ends. Wool pile and cotton foundations.
A good quality rug, full of character and signs of use, in a reasonably good condition and very much ready for use.

This rug measures approximately 180 cm including fringes, and 115.5 cm wide.

A little even wear to pile. Fringes with some wear. Good even colour. A good regular shape for a handwoven rug. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
