Description

A stunning pair of antique silver plated wine coasters dating to the late Victorian or early Edwardian period, around 1900.

They are beautifully decorated from top to bottom with a reeded rim with repousse foliate flourishes, the sides are pierced and decorated with a floral ribbon and bow garland and they stand on four elegant Lion's paw feet.

Ready for use, they remain in excellent condition with minor wear to plate. Each stands 5 1/4" tall with a rim diameter of 4 7/8" and the bottle opening is around 3 1/4" in diameter.
