A rare set of 4 Victorian Crown back Mahogany chairs.
This strong set of chairs features a spectacular and comfortable broad crown back and a florally carved and scrolled centre rail. The chairs have comfortable drop in seat-pad style seats which is framed by deep moulded side rails which stands on its barrel turned forelegs.
These chairs have their original French polished finish with a rich deep Mahogany colour and have been carefully cleaned and waxed. These chairs have been looked after and cared for as it is very rare to find a set of 4 Victorian chairs in such good clean condition.
These chairs are of high quality and are made from all solid heavy Mahogany with a strong design, construction and are completely original with no loose joints or wobbles.
The Rexine style leatherette covering on the seat-pads is a deep burgundy colour and is in used condition so is not absolutely perfect but they are in clean usable and good condition. The inner padding is in good order and they are very comfortable seating.
