In A Nutshell Antiques and Interiors has dated this piece to the Regency era.
The drawer has remains of the original blue penny paper lining.
The table has a wonderful rich colour and grain and is beautifully finished on all four sides, making it suitable as a centre table or side table.
It is in excellent condition for its age and displays well. There are some minor signs of age and use, some small marks and knocks and a small stain on the top but nothing untoward or detrimental. It has been cleaned and polished and is ready for use.
