The angle of the stand can also be adjusted using the screw on the reverse.
One foot is stamped with the makers mark "S H & S".
It is in good condition for its age and all the parts move well. It is strong and sturdy and is certainly usable. The brass has tarnished over time and there are of course signs of age and use but no major damages or anything detrimental.
