Victorian Button Back Library Armchair

19th century
Description

A Victorian button back library armchair of generous proportions, the tub shaped back over a sprung seat with serpentine shaped front, the scroll arms with carved mahogany terminals and raised on cabriole legs with scroll feet terminating in porcelain and brass castors.

A comfortable chair in good order. The green diamond pattern fabric which is also in good order although the seat does some have some marks which may come out with cleaning.

I can arrange re-covering with my upholsterer and supply fabric if required, please contact me for further details.

90cm high, 67cm wide at the front, the seat 54cm deep and 44cm high, overall depth 87cm max.
