A Gorgeous Edwardian Silver Overlay Inkwell

A gorgeous Edwardian silver and glass inkwell. This attractive piece has elaborate silver piercing applied over the glass body (which is heavy and doubles as a paperweight). The hinged lid opens to reveal a deep ink reservoir and a glass ink liner. The body is of squat and rounded form and the base is heavily cut with strawberry diamonds. This superior example is a handsome collector's piece, both practical and decorative. Dimensions below.
