A late C17th, oak high back chair. This solid oak country chair features a yoke top rail, solid variform splat back. Solid plank seat. Raised on turned and block legs all supported by stretchers.
A charming chair, full of character, with some flaws, very good colour, polish and patina. Ready for use.

This chair measures approximately 102.5 cm (40.5'') tall, 46 cm (18'') wide, and 40.5 cm (16'') deep. The seat height measures approximately 41.5 cm (16.5'').
Condition:
Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chair is in a reasonable condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound. There are some odd marks, blemishes and time aged wear. Old repair brackets to the rear of the stiles and top rail. Some minor historic worm holes. Treated, with no structural damage. Very good colour, polish and patina. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
