DESCRIPTION
A stunning natural 9ct gold and silver large Blue and white Zircon brooch, likely converted from a bracelet. A wonderful showstopper of a piece and superb quality zircons with no damage or rubbing
HALLMARKS
Not Hallmarked. The rear is gold, the stone setting likely Silver but may be gold and I suspect the later reinforcement border as was likely a flexible bracelet panel to be silver.
MEASUREMENTS
Blue Zircon; 6mm- stunning aquamarine/ green/blue blue colour with no wear at all to the surface of the stones. The stone weighs approximately 1.00ct each.
Brooch length ; 80mm x 22mm
Smaller white zircons 3mm. One is discoloured due to a small amount of residue glue helping to set in place
To buy blue zircons now cost £400 per carat, this is a spectacular example
CONDITION
Good condition, signs commensurate of age and some residue glue present, the zircons are in fantastic condition. Working and secure clasp
