Antique Mahogany Pedestal Chest of Drawers

A neat Victorian antique mahogany pedestal chest of drawers. The antique pedestal chest of drawers is of narrow proportions and has an arrangement of four graduating drawers, each with two polished wooden knobs. The antique pedestal chest of drawers is raised on a plinth base. Beautiful colour and grain throughout.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related scratches and marks to the top, sides and front (pictured). There are also shrinkage splits to the sides and cracking to the veneer on the drawer fronts (pictured). The antique pedestal chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of its kind.
