Pair of Early 19th C Ormolu & Bronze Candlestsicks

Description

A Pair of Regency Ormolu and Bronze Candlesticks.

Each with a lift out rounded and reeded rim drip pan, fitting within a leaf decorated vase candle holder. The stems mounted with a falling leaf collar, over the reeded and baluster bodies, broadening to a reeded ring, supported by a rising and folding leaf cup and reeded ring socle. The inverted edge triangular bases with scrolled leaf and acanthus, standing on lions paw feet, resting on a lambs tongue edge plinth.

Height 11 1/2 inches, 29cm.

Width 5 inches, 12.5cm.

Depth 5 inches, 12.5cm.
