A stylish early 19th Century X-frame window seat of elaborate shapely form and retaining the original blue and gilt decoration. The hand rails with rounded terminals and collars and carved rosettes sweeping down to a dished seat in horsehair and hessian upholstery, above and central carved foliate panel, raised on swept legs with gilded paw feet with repeating gilded collars. Circa 1820.
