Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The top with drop leaves, hinging on rule joints, and supported with bracket gates. The top faced with rosewood cross banding and inlaid with a broad band of burr yew wood.
This repeated to the blind other side. The table on well turned tapering legs, with ring decoration, finishing in brass cup castors. The whole in wellchosen rosewood and tightly burred yew, with an excellent patination.
Date circa 1830.
