Art Deco 0.74 Carat Old Cut Diamond Pendant, Circa 1920

Description

A stunning vintage diamond pendant. The old mine cut bright and lively old mine cut diamond at the bottom secured in an eight-claw open collet above a scalloped back-plate. A slim, narrow bar of platinum links to a smaller old mine cut diamond in a triangular settings, linking to a 16 inch fine, platinum trace chain. A wonderful pendant that equally well as an everyday piece, or worn more formally.

Accompanied by an independent jewellery report from IGR (#30310115).

Cut – Old mine cut diamonds

Colour – The larger diamond is K, the top diamond is G.

Clarity – The larger diamond is SI1, the top diamond is VS2.

Carat – The larger diamond is a known 0.74 carat, the top diamond is approximately 0.03 carat.

Circa – 1920.

Measurements – The diamond is approximately 5.7 x 5.8mm. The pendant is 25.4mm long.

Metal – Platinum. Tested.
