The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
Bentima was a British company who originally made clocks. They were, at one time, the UK importers and agents for Oris watches.

The watch has a hand-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch is a good wearable size at 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. It is quite unusual to find the larger watches of the period as the fashion was for smaller watches. The case is chromium plated, there is some wear and rubbing commensurate with its age but overall very acceptable for a 1950s piece. The case back is stainless steel.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, red centre seconds sweep and outer minute markers. There is a little gentle unevenness and marking to the dial but not too detrimental.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
