A 19th Century Music Cabinet, What Not.

The cabinet with a broad crossbanded top, the centre inlaid with a lyre and laurels (the classical motif of music).

The top finished with a concave underside, above the four baluster shaped and ring turned legs, tapering to likewise baluster and ringed tapering feet. The two shelves enclosed by open baluster profile sides.

Date circa 1840.
