George III Antique Oak Bureau

A gorgeous George III antique oak bureau. The antique oak bureau has a fall front that opens to reveal a green baize writing surface with fitted interior, consisting of six pigeon holes, eight drawers and a central cupboard. The antique oak bureau has an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers, each with decorative brass backplates and swan neck handles. The Georgian antique oak bureau is raised on bracket feet.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related stains, scratches, marks and shrinkage splits to the top and interior (pictured), further splits and marks to the sides (pictured). The antique oak bureau remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a fantastic example of a Georgian bureau.
