Large Regency "Gillows" Mahogany Dining Table

Description

A splendid Regency period mahogany dining table in the manner of Gillows of Lancaster. Of fine construction in dense Cuban flame mahogany. With 5 original leaves and the two ends giving an impressive total length of 12 feet 9 inches and seating up to 16 people. Standing on refined turned legs with half height reeded rope twist decoration and terminating in original solid brass caps and castors. With an excellent scissor action mechanism, a truly refined piece of cabinet making. This wonderful table is offered for sale in superb condition, with a splendid colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home.
