Elmgarden has dated this piece to the 18th Century.
This is a large table with a gate leg at each side to support the large deep leaves, it has attractive turned legs and plain stretchers with a carved edge around the table top

The table dates from the mid 18th Century and when fully extended has a slightly oval top, the table also has a drawer at one end
The table has seen a few repairs in its lifetime, none of these are recent and it is good condition for its age. The table is strong and big enough to seat 8 or more diners when fully open
The table stands 30” high and 55” x 23’’ when closed and 55’’ by 65’’ when fully extended.
