Georgian Long Case, Grandfather Clock, Circa 1775

Description

Georgian long case, grandfather clock, circa 1775. A fine Clock with an eight day striking movement, with strike silent dial to the arch, the matted centre with a pagoda engraved seconds dial and calendar aperture showing the days of the month, and a plaque inscribed Wm Tompkins London.

The movement comes with a brass bob pendulum, 2 weights and a winding key and is contained in an exceptionally well figured pagoda top case.
