Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 19th Century.
The quality is superb and this is of useful proportions, with a generous work space.
The turned mahogany legs are very bold with a lovely octagonal design, terminating in brass casters. The handles are also turned nicely from solid mahogany, the drawers have fine hand cut dovetailed joints.

We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age. It has acquired a beautiful patina and colour tone over the years, there are various small marks and indentations beneath the polish here and there, commensurate for age.
