A Gorgeous 18th Century Pierced Silver Cream Pail

A truly lovely Georgian swing handled silver cream pail, with alternative uses for sugar or bonbons. This delightful 18th Century example has pierced fretwork throughout. The handle is pierced with a loop design and the rim has a feathered border. The basket retains the original blue glass liner. A charming and practical piece for use or display. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no splits, dents, or losses to the silver and no cracks or chips to the glass. There are signs of an old strengthening repair inside the rim, near to the handle. It is not visible once the liner is in the basket and is commensurate with age and use.
