Unique 19th Century Anglesey Oak and Mahogany Decorated Welsh Dresser

This is unique!! The V and a or st fagans (welsh folk museum hasnt got a dresser like this!!!

Dating from the early to mid 19th century.c1840 it is one of the most interesting antique dressers i,ve ever bought in 47 years.

It measures 175cms wide and 190cms high .at its widest 48cms

Totally original

The pics tell the story. Whoever buys this is buying a unique piece of welsh furniture and history.

There is nothing like it in bebbs "welsh furniture " books vol1 and 2.

This type of dresser is often referred to as "an anglesey dresser" but I think it must have been made on the mainland llanrwst maybe, such is the level of workmanship.

The colour is mellow and it has a wonderful patina.
