An elegant antique Austro-Hungarian bangle from the early 1900s crowned with a deep blue sapphire bezel set in the centre of a platinum flower (approx. 0.55ct). It’s complemented by a halo of nine bright cushion cut diamond petals with further diamonds displayed down the sides (approx. 0.80ct total).
Blue Sapphire is said to be a stone of truth, wisdom and protection. It’s been a favourite of kings and royalty throughout history, adored for its royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The sleek band is all 18ct gold and is held securely by a box clasp and safety chain at the side. It’s a stunning piece, complete with the maker’s initials (M.K.) and Austro-Hungarian marks within the band.
We recommend you insure for £3,000. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
