Lincoln Restorations has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
A charming original wash stand, ideal as a dressing table.
We are offering this excellent condition original Victorian circa 1860 wash stand.
Under the top is the shaped serpentine frieze which houses a centre drawer with an amber glass original knob, ideal for storing makeup or jewellery. The unit stands on twin turned pedestals which stand on a shaped legs with a turned stretcher rail all culminating to bun feet.

This table is ready for its new home and has been sympathetically restored maintaining original patina, signs of age and has a lovely deep rich original colour with its lightly faded French polished finish. We have enhanced this item by cleaning and carefully waxing this item to give a natural lustrous sheen and preserve and protect the item.

Please note this item is in very good condition for its age but will have the odd blemish here and there, for example, the top has a small ink stain and there is a faint ring mark to the left hand drawer unit. We feel that these points are which adds to its charm and character.
