Description

An excellent antique Victorian bookcase in mahogany. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1860-1880 period.

It’s a great size, very tall and slim, with lots of storage space. The quality is very good, this is well made, sturdy and sound.

The glazed upper doors contain adjustable shelving, and there is more shelving in the lower cabinet behind the arched panelled doors. There are also two deep drawers in the centre, with original brass handles. It has curved corners & sits on a plinth base.

We have recently had this re-polished, it is in fantastic condition for its age. The top comes off and this comes apart in two pieces for ease of transport.
