Good George IV mahogany hall bench / hall seat; of an unusual sculptural design; the straight top rail having a bold ogee shaped moulding with protruding rounded corners, raised on swept supports, leading to the figured solid mahogany saddle seat of unusual curvaceous form; with the moulded seat rail raised on turned tapering legs; with swept sabre legs to the rear.
English circa 1830
Very good original condition, having a good surface and patination. Strong and sturdy.
