A lovely Victorian writing desk, ideal for any period study or office.
This very usable desk is ideal to be used as a desk for a laptop with the bonus of being able to store the folded laptop in the middle drawer and could also even be used as a hall or console table as it is narrow and not too intrusive.
This lovely desk features its original lovely lightly faded French polished finish with a nice warm Mahogany colour with patina and Green gold tooled writing desk leather in used but good condition.
The desk also features 9 dovetailed constructed and moulded front descending drawers and comes complete with Brass dropper handles (which we believe are a later addition).
We have sympathetically restored, cleaned and waxed this item to enhance the French polished surface and preserve it for many years to come.
Please note; This item is in great condition for its age as shown by the photographs, however, being an antique item of this age there may be minor blemishes here and there which we feel adds to its originality and heritage of the piece. Also note this desk comes apart into 3 pieces for ease of transport and placing into a room.
