Mahogany Tilt-top Tripod Supper Table

A mid Georgian period, mahogany tilt-top tripod supper table, dating from the late C18th. A solid round mahogany top, with tilt mechanism. Supported by a well proportioned turned stem, raised on a tripod of cabriole legs on pad feet.
 
A charming table, with good colour, polish and patina. Ready for use.

This table measures approximately 69.5 cm (27.5'') tall, and 65.5 cm (26'') in diameter.

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This table is in good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally sound and sturdy. Good colour, pleasing patina, and a good polish. Some minor odd marks and blemishes. An old repair to the top of one leg on the stem, and butterfly joint on the underside of the top to secure a partial very fine aged split to the top, which is now very well polished in. Ready for use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
